Hello, my name is Olivia, I have taught dance and Gymnastics for 6 Years total, and before that i was a class assistant at this very dance school. I have always loved dance and theatre since the age of 3  and as i grew older i realised i also loved the teaching aspect too. It is thanks to my parents that i am where i am today in my teaching career, they supported me all through my training, degree and various courses (they still do) in every way that they can, and i will always be grateful for their help and support with the school.
Although i love every style of dance, my favourite has always been tap dance. My first show with the dance school was Beauty and the Beast, and my favourite dance was to 'tiptoe through the tulips', this was my tap dance, we got a chance to sing and tap, two of my favourite things.
In the dance school there was always such a sense of family and community, that is something i wish to carry on. I believe that everyone can be taught and the key to successful teaching is nurture, kindness and patience. The oppurtunity to co-run a dance school with a close friend is not one that many people come across, and i will be forever grateful that i have this oppurtunity.
Teamwork really does make the dreamwork.

Rachel Jones

BA Hons Musical Theatre (Cabaret) at University of Chichester Conservetoire

Both teachers are trained in all styles of dance.

Specialties:

Theatre Jazz, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Ballet, Commercial, Acro.

Hi, my name is Rachel. I joined the school for my third birthday present and have been dancing ever since. My mum in particular has always been a big influence as alongside being a primary school teacher, she was a professional cellist. My degree is a BA(Hons) in Musical Theatre (Cabaret) from the University of Chichester Conservatoire.

I have been teaching within the school for 6 years now and assisted for two years before that. I am currently part way through my Level 4 teaching qualification with BBODance.

Going forward I'll be combining my experience as a student, my degree and my teaching so far. I am excited for this new role and endeavour to continue with the same ethos - that every child deserves to dance and perform with good technique and training.
